Does Not Survive

A bit of research pegged the address for the YWCA building to be 56 Cannon Street. The building survived into the 60s, and then became the victim of urban renewal. The site is now a parking lot.

The YWCA that inhabited the building itself expired last decade, leaving unpaid taxes.

Simple

A very tidy design with just enough ornamentation to give the basic structure individuality. Very nice. Simply works!

Such a beautiful building

Can't imagine anything even remotely close to this being built today.

Frequent droppings

Looks like there had been a few carriage stops out front dropping off the ladies.
