This image was scanned from my grandfather John Baker's Warbook. In this photo, we have an unidentified soldier getting "bunny ears" from a French woman. Judging by her attire and the attire of the woman sitting down, it may be safe to say that this was taken at a brothel. Coincidentally, both the soldier and the woman sitting have wedding rings on. Although this image has no caption in the Warbook, it is signed by Dale Rooks and was probably taken in early September, 1944 while the USS Duane was in Southern France. View full size.
