In 1966 I got the Polaroid "Swinger" for my birthday. It only used black and white film, the pictures were tiny and they looked more like they were taken in the 1930s than the 60s. I soon got tired of spending my hard-earned babysitting money on film for it, but the few I have are kind of amusing! The suitcase and the things on the bed and surroundings are there because my paternal grandmother had come from Washington (state, not DC) on the train to visit.
