Clean & Speedy

Washington Post, Jan 7, 1920.

Lemon Helps Central Beat Baltimore Poly.

Jimmy Lemon, Central's left forward, by scoring seven baskets from scrimmage and two from free passes, paved the way for Central to defeat the Baltimore Poly quintet at Baltimore yesterday, 24 to 22. The game was clean and speedy. Superior floor work helped Central greatly.

Winchester played well for Poly, his accurate shooting keeping his mates in the running.

Lemon's Look

Starting out the 1921 basketball season, our uniforms are featuring the new and trendy belted jodhpur cutoffs worn with well-used Chuck Taylor hightops, long socks and functional knee pads. Jimmy Lemon assures us that this latest fashion in court wear is much more comfortable than it appears. Go Central!
