Currier & Ives

A wee bit of snow and it would be a Currier and Ives moment.

Nervous parents for sure.

I wonder how many mothers nervously wondered if their adventurous kids were always climbing the cliff face or tossing stuff off the top?
I know as a kid I sure as heck would have been up there!!
Beats any fakey climbing wall in the mall.

Guard dog!

Don't worry, that dog seems to be making sure that the kids won't get too close to the edge. It seems quite focused on protection. Soon I imagine it will bark a warning for the kids to move to safety.

Paterson, NJ

Paterson is a very different place today, but it is so interesting to see buildings in this photo that are still recognizable.
