Marilyn (Colorized): 1921

I couldn't resist this Shorpy image of Marilyn Miller. Such a simple yet compelling scene. She's adorable. I used the 1920 Templar Roadster as the model for this car. The steering wheel mechanism seems unique to that make. View full size.

Sure does make me wish

That I was hitch hiking to somewhere on her route in 1921. Totally lovely. That mechanism on the wheel is not unique to this particular brand. It allowed adjusting the ignition timing and something else that I'll remember right after I hit "Post comment".

Beautiful

Gorgeous work, Deborah.
