This is my grandmother Ruth. While her then-boyfriend was in the Pacific during WWII, she dragged a chair outside the house to take a series of photos like this one to send to him. I don't really understand why she wanted to be perched on a chair outside, but I'm just thankful that this is as risque as she ever got! View full size.
