While going through family slides, I came across two that seemed to have paper in the cardboard slide frame instead of film. I realized that these were the slides my dad used to create the Christmas decorations that were a constant part of my childhood Christmases in the 1960's.
Originally cut from a Popular Mechanics magazine these were for projecting onto plywood. With saber saw, paint, and lights, you were the envy of the neighborhood.
Santa would be placed on the roof, and the reindeer would attempt to hoist the bag up to him. What good is decorating if it doesn't involve going up a ladder? | Click image for Comments.
