Bedford Snow Kids: c.1957

Another shot from Bedford, Quebec, winter, circa 1957, with my two brothers. In this one, I'm wearing slippery plastic mittens to match my slippery plastic boots. It's a wonder I was able to walk or make snowballs. Winters were very cold and snowy there in the late 50s - I remember Dad waking us up early one morning to see the thermometer outside the window reading almost -50. We loved winter! View full size.
