Another shot of winter in Bedford, Quebec in the late 50s. Here I'm looking proud of myself in the snow fort I built at the foot of our laneway. Living at the edge of a small town, we often went tobogganing on nearby countryside hills and skated until our feet were tingly-numb on the frozen creek that wound its way out of town.
