Taken by my great-great uncle during WW2, these are scanned by me from original photographs. Caption on rear reads "This is the way those heinie basterds left their concentration camps before they took off. April 22, 1945." View full size.
Just when I think I have seen it all, or imagined it all, yet another photo or text will reveal an even more hideous version of the monstrousness of humankind. I think I've seen all the photos of piles of bodies in WW II concentration camps that there are to be seen, some even featuring emaciated corpses bulldozed into pits, and then here are new ones: bodies laid out in rows as far as the eye can see, and, in the other associated post by jaypeeh, a huge pile of bones and ashes. Is there a limit to the variations of horribleness? Apparently not. Can it get worse? Always.
