Ford Truck

The Ford truck is a '57 F100.

Long lines in the summer

I waited in that line many times during several summers back in the '60s. Waiting to board either the Thornton or her sister ship for the trip from Point Bolivar to Galvestion could be a long wait in the summer.

It's been some 15 years since my last crossing. That time it was a round trip walk-on from the Galveston side when my wife and I were in Galveston for a weekend visit.

Vehicle IDs

I can't believe it's been the whole weekend and no one has identified these vehicles. From rear to front they are (it appears) a 1958 Chevy Biscayne sedan, a 1960 Chevy station wagon and 2 1960 Ford Sedans. Not sure of the year on the Ford truck with the work crew.
