DeChristopher's Pharmacy

Photo taken Peekskill, NY (Family photo Katrina Murray collection)
DeChristopher's Pharmacy never really changed in all the years. The candy display that was always on the side, lighters and cigars on the case on the left. Pharmacy section at the back. This was the only pharmacy where you could buy chemicals to do science class (and out of class) experiments in the sixties and seventies. Notions and whatnots, Zippo lighter flints, Ronson lighter fluid, Dr Grabos pipes, rubber goods, wrist watches, Westclocks Baby Ben alarm clocks, Evening in Paris Perfume. Lifesavers candy counter, Smith Brothers cough drops. View full size.
