Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada, Summer 1958. This is me, my Grandpa Peter, my parents, and Dad's cousin and wife. We were returning home from a road trip to Flint, Michigan, where other cousins of my Dad lived, back to Bedford, Quebec, where we lived at the time.

My Dad's cousin owned the house in this picture, later to become Trisha Romance's (Canadian watercolour artist) restored Victorian home and gallery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Grandpa Peter still operated his grocery store up King Street from here in 1958. I believe it was this same summer visit that Dad took that shot of me sitting on the steps in front of the store.
