Key West: 1960

Another evocative Kodachrome taken by my dad around Christmas 1960 at the Key West Holiday Inn in Florida. View full size.

Hidden in the foliage

is a 1957 Ford Country Sedan 4 door station wagon (9 passenger).

Look at all that unused space!

I would have loved to have visited or lived in Key West before the 90's. I bet you could fit thirty t-shirt shops in that parking lot alone!
