Same location as the Hula Hoop photo - our driveway - with Dad and me in winter 1958. We lived literally on the edge of town, as seen by the background countryside and woods. That was our playground, summer and winter, for my friends and me, the best childhood anyone could ask for. No helicopter parenting, no electronic distractions.
