Anna Bush Hartsough and Ethyl L. Hartsough Hall in 1918. My mother's parents weren't wealthy - Grandpa was a Presbyterian minister. Yet Grandma Hartsough was in her Sunday best for this formal sitting with my mother in 1918. This portrait was, most likely, taken in Indianapolis.
