From a huge lot of slides I acquired several years ago. I believe this was in California, as most of the other slides were from there. Perhaps Lancaster, California.

Definitely not the desert landscape of Lancaster, California - despite the sponsorship of Robertson Implement. Might be an early incarnation of the Inland Soap Box Derby in San Bernardino.
