My first foreign holiday, Tenerife, Canary Islands. Picture says Aug 71 but it could well have been taken in 1970 and just sat in my parents camera for a year. I think this is the only picture of all of us that I have ever seen. If it's 1971, Dad would be just 33, mum is 29, my sister Julie 5 and I've just gone 3. Dad died in 1999, so I can't ask him why he looks like he's halfway ready to go to work when we're on the beach.
