This is the graduation picture for the 8th grade class at St. John the Baptist Catholic School in New Brighton, Minnesota (a suburb of St Paul). I'm in the second row from the front, fourth from the left.

This was one of the few days each year when we weren't required to wear our uniforms (but I inexplicably still wore the stupid string tie!)

Reverend Paul Koscielniak, who ran the school from its inception in 1952, is front and center.

My biggest surprise, when scanning this image, was seeing what appears to be mistletoe hanging above center stage. Wish I had seen and taken advantage of it back then! View full size.
