Floods

Bell bottoms, elephant pants: there were many names for the type of pants worn by the lanky fellow on the far right. But because of the great distance between the bottom of his trousers and the ground, we would have considered these pants fit to withstand rising flood waters. My goodness, kids could be mean. As further proof, the former kid in me points out the haughty look on the face of the young lady beside floods boy.
