Demountable rims

They exist in several variations from single piece continuous ones to those split in various ways, all to facilitate tire mounting and retention. Still very common on large trucks, farming, construction and mining equipment.

Tire Change

I know little about pre-1950 cars. Can I assume that a tire change involved taking off the four nuts and clamps that held the rim to the wheel assembly?

Horn-ee

The lovely lady "accessory" about to open the driver's door is beautiful, but I also like the horn. It is a sculpture as well as an instrument of warning, and I wonder how its four tones sounded?
