"Tower Hill School - Senior Grade - 1888" The paper backing in the frame had an NRA (National Recovery Act) stamp from 1933 on it issued by the "Picture Moulding and Picture Frame Code Authority" so it's probably been in the frame since then or shortly after. View full size.

The Shorpy name jumped right out at me. Second row, third from the left. She is looking off to the side, as at least three others are doing.
I believe this school would have been in Tower Hill Township in Illinois. Captolia Evey shows up as one of the children of John Evey. "Captolia follows the profession of teaching."
