Escher-esque

Right handrail appears to connect to Left wall/door. There is a post there, but it's barely visible.

A few nails, a dab of paint

That place'll spiff right up. I mean, look at those corbels!

Shell

An appropriate sign for this derelict home.

Duplex in a jiffy!

In the days before zoning and building codes, it was a simple matter to morph your home into a multi-family dwelling. Judging from the quality of that staircase, it was cheap and quick as well.

The American Pickers will be by in a few hours to pay the owner four figures for that nicely roached SHELL sign.
