Dad in the Philippines: 1945

Several years ago we cleaned out the basement of my mom's home and discovered a box of photographs and negatives that my dad brought back from the Pacific during his service in WW 2. He served in New Guinea and the Philippines with the Grim Reapers, aka the 3rd attack group of the 5th Army Air Corps. This photo is from the Philippines in 1945 when he was assigned to the Motor Pool. View full size.
