Cash is King

I spy at the extreme right of the photo a National Cash Register Store and there are some examples of the brass registers in the windows. They are gorgeous machines and National Cash Registers were made in Dayton Ohio. I picked up one of these antique brass beauties this week for my little shop. It still works perfectly, needs no electricity, made in the U.S.A. and is quite the conversation piece. It weighs a about 120 lbs. In this day of plastic registers, I seriously doubt any of our modern ones will be around 100+ years later.
