This particularly armory (which replaced the 22nd Regiment Armory on this site that lasted from 1863 - 1894) was actually demolished in 1969, to make room for the extremely ugly 42nd Infantry Division Armory built in 1971. It was this later incarnation that was torn down in 1996 to make room for the mixed-residential use building that stands there today.

Demolished in 1996.
