Circa 1920s: My grandfather Edwin Shutan, (middle row, far left) played in a local baseball league. He was the team manager. They played in Humboldt Park and Garfield Park on Chicago's West side. When the gambling got heavy on the sidelines, Edwin decided he wanted no part of that, so he quit playing! Rexo was a manufacturer of chemicals and photo products.
