Jackson to Washington

Google Maps shows Washington Road crossing Sumner at this location. In addition to the Washington Avenue that Randy mentions, there's also a Washington Boulevard in town, from which Washington Road proceeds. As this blog post mentions, it had formerly been named Jackson Street.

Dazed and Confused

The original image shows a Jackson Street to the north which I can't locate in current Springfield maps.

This 2014 image shows a Washington Avenue to the north which is in current Springfield maps, but runs parallel to Sumner about five blocks to the south.

Am I overlooking something?
