Track gang

They are removing a switch and replacing it with straight track. You can see the gauge bar sitting across the rails, so they're not removing the track completely. You can also see the tie impressions in the ballast in the foreground, they are apparently removing several yard tracks.

It almost looks like…

…a diorama (in the standard size, at least).
