"Dear Florence & all -

"This was taken the 18th of May 1939 our 30th wedding day. How are you all I hope fine and I hope the children are all well....

"I have shortened a few coats for friends this winter also dresses. I'm hooking a rug. have the border most done. haven't done one before for a long time. You can paint this card if you'd like to. put some hair on for Fred for he has some. Write when you can. I'm going to use this for Xmas card. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
