Headless play

This shot is so dynamic!! For a second I thought the guy just under and to our right of the flying man had had his head kicked clean off!

Some tough kids out there.

Some tough kids out there. Couple aren't even wearing the leather helmets. That would pretty much dictate tackling rugby style, I would imagine. Still a rough task, which is quite evident if you've ever watched rugby. In my era, we at least had a single bar face guard. And I'll third the motion on liking the stop action type photo.

Amen!

After looking at so many posed still photographs from the Good Old Days, it's always a surprise to see such a terrific ACTION shot!

Stop-Action Excellence

That is some awesome stop-action work for the time period. I didn't realize they had that ability in 1923.
