Firemen's practice was apparently an annual event in Keene, NH, c. 1910. This shot was taken by Fred Carpenter at the head of the Square in front of the Congregational Church and Ball's Block. Ball's Block is seen here as a three-story building -- in later days, the top floor would be removed.
