Hot tin roof

As we can see the sun stands sky-high, the roof seems to have the form of a (very) flat pyramid, made of metal probably. So I suppose we see the reflection of the sun shining on a hot tin roof, the cat has probably already been roasted.
But it might also be the gost of the recently buried person
