This ticket was issued to see the last public hanging in Dunklin County, Missouri. Admission was limited to ticket holders.

This is Joe Manning. A man named Miller Kitchell died in Dunklin County, Missouri, on Sept 9, 1940. He was 80 years old. His death certificate gave his occupation as a farmer.

It seems like Miller Kitchell was present at other hangings in Kennett, MO (link).
