None But You

Somewhere in the Midwest, probably Wisconsin. Handwritten on back, "None but you."

Wisconsin

This could have been any one of our 9,999 beautiful lakes in Wisconsin. In any case, what a wonderful picture. Makes me a little sad that it ended up in a thrift shop though. Someone, at some point in time was cleaning out a house. They came upon a musty old box of photos and thought, "Meh."
Who does that??!

Found in a junk store

Thanks for your interest. I believe I found it in a junk/antique store in western Wisconsin. I wasn't able to match it up with any of the other pictures in the box so it's origin will remain a mystery, but I guess that adds to the charm a bit. Unknown boy, unknown girl enjoying each other's company on a summer afternoon a very long time ago.

Why Wisconsin?

This photo & the caption written on the back are just precious. But am curious why you believe it was taken in Wisconsin. If it was, I wonder what Wisconsin lake it was - it doesn't look like it's West Bend or Silver Lake to me.
