Washington, D.C., 1913. "Lincoln, Abraham. A. Stuntz." Apolonia Stuntz's "Fancy Store" at 1207 New York Avenue N.W., where Abraham Lincoln is said to have bought toys for his son Tad. A 1919 Washington Post article makes mention of the building's demise sometime the year before; much later, another article describes it as having been razed in 1933 to make room for a parking lot.
