I'll bet you heard, "When are you going to get a haircut?", and variations on "You look like a girl" a million times! My most frequent companion that year was a boy who was doing his best to grow his hair out, despite his father's protests. Actually, you looked pretty darned good, speaking as a teen-aged girl from the same time period!
