My grandfather, William Kearton c 1917

This is my paternal grandfather, William Kearton, taken about 1917 when he was in the Royal Flying Corps. I don't know a lot about him, but I'm told that his main job in the RFC was to recover aircraft that had crashed in no-man's land, between the trenches. View full size.
