Hold Still: 1962

My Aunt Dolores styling my mother's hair in my grandmother's basement rec room, February, 1962. My mother was 13, and my aunt was probably 20. Dolores would own her own salon, Mason Maurice, after studying in Paris. She bought me my first set of clippers when I was 11. I haven't paid for a haircut since. She passed away a year and a half ago, and we've all missed her so much. This is my first submission, and I dedicate it to my Aunt Dolores, who was also an award-winning amateur photographer.
