They are adjusted by your webmaster for contrast and color in Photoshop before being downsized and turned into the jpegs you see here.

Or, "Smile when you say that, hollyhock!" Me, age 5, in my brother's hand-me-down cowboy hat and vest. I'm pretty sure those are my very own gun and horse, though. And glasses. Taken in what was later our cut flower garden.
