Accordion Man

My Dad grew up in Europe where the accordion was a respected instrument. My Mom as you can see was a polite audience. About 1963, Pigeon Lake, Alberta, Canada . . . and yes he is wearing swim trucks. View full size.

Fuel for the Fire

Bottle gas right next to the house, on end, (apparently) unsupported. Do people still do that? And how many times has that line been flexed?

I'm in a city gas area where domestic propane is pretty foreign.

Nevertheless, Manfred and Gisela are definitely feeling the accordion buzz.

"Swim Trucks"

I would hope he's wearing swim trunks, not "trucks"!

Pigeon Lake

Love this photo of your folks, they look happy. We were posted in Germany for over 6 years so I understand about the "respected instrument" part. We will be taking our RV to Pigeon Lake next summer for a few days as it is close to us in Calgary here. Seems like a nice place your folks had there, looks like my old curling broom from 1966 parked by the propane tank!
