Gay Uniforms Banned!

Below, a gay-uniform roundup compiled from World War I era press clippings. Extra added bonus: "Woodchuck Attacks Man," the story of one Hiram Rupture and a nameless rodent.

For those of us who have trouble with tiny type, a transcription of "Woodchuck Attacks Man," courtesy of Anonymous Tipster:
Middletown, New York - Crossing a field on a farm near Sussex, Hiram Rupture stepped into the hole of a woodchuck and was unable to extricate his foot. The animal rushed to the mouth of the hole and bit the man's leg. Rupture screamed for help. He had about given up hope of relief when several passers-by hurried to his aid. He was not seriously injured.

"Woodchuck Attacks Man"

For those of us who can't make out the tiny type, I have transcribed it:

The animal rushed to the mouth of the hole and bit the man's leg. Rupture screamed for help. He had about given up hope of relief when several passers-by hurried to his aid. [Thanks! I added that to the post. - Dave]

Gay Uniforms Banned!

I always wondered why they were called dress uniforms ...
