Mrs. Conant and the Boys

The note on the back says "Mrs. Conant & the boys at the Chelsea Naval Hospital in Chelsea, Mass. Mrs. C. drawing a quick pencil sketch of a wounded Marine or sailor recuperating therein. - from a letter postmarked Cambridge, Mass, [12]/ 11/44"
Mrs. Conant was a friend of my father's when he attended MIT before and after the war. I think this may be Grace T. Conant, wife of James Bryant Conant, then president of Harvard University. The one photo I can find, taken in 1953 of the Conants, resembles the woman in this photo. Mrs. Conant corresponded with my father during the war, while he was serving with the Canadian Army.
