Rhode Island: 1925

This family picture was taken on the rocky shore of Hull Cove, Conanicut Island, Rhode Island in 1925. My grandfather owned some property right on the water, built a cabin called Short Point Lodge. We spent every summer there until 1938 when a hurricane washed everything away except the stone fireplace. I am on the right, age 1, with my mother. My Aunt is center, my grandmother on the left, holding my cousin, age 2. View full size.
