This puts me in mind of the work of Gertrude Käsebier and other photographers of the Photo Secession school. I’ve never been a devote of this style of photography, as it’s too “painterly” and allegorical, which was of course exactly the style being sought by Käsebier, Stieglitz, Steichen and all the others.
