On the Road to Hollywood: 1935

This photo was scanned from a print that my sister has in the family photo collection. The hood ornament, as unclear as it is, looks like a Buick one from 1934-1935 but I can't match the car with any I've seen, particularly the grill and trim on the side of the hood. We think the driver is our Grandmother but don't remember any family stories of a trip west (from Missouri) in 1935. View full size.

Hollywood

Yes, definitely a 1934 Pontiac 3-window coupe.

Hollywood car

Everything points to it being a 1934 Pontiac, including the sculpted streaks on the front fender.
