Live from WCSH

This is from the studio of WCSH-TV in Portland, Maine. I am not sure what show that was being broadcast at the moment. From my negatives collection. View full size.

More info I learned

I posted this picture on WCSH's facebook page. One person said that she believed it was from a show called Amateur Hour (but not 100% sure) I have 6 shots from the studio, five of them are this couple, one other with a different couple reading something (will post that in Member's Blog) But here is another pic of the same couple. Thank you for your comments as it makes this less of a mystery.

He's singing opera

They're singing a duet, probably operatic. Judging from the look on their faces, I'd say he's a baritone "holding forth" (as one would say) and she's a soprano awaiting her turn to sing. I would also guess that she (or the character she's portraying - or both) doesn't like what she's hearing.

...fellow Shorpyites may ask, "How does Bohneyjames know all this?"
Answer: Been There, Done That.

Whatever he's selling

....it looks like she's heard it before. She has nice legs.
