Rainbow Ridge is a community of scale model and forced-perspective buildings in Frontierland in Disneyland. It traces back to the earliest days of the park, decorating the loading area for various incarnations of a miniature train ride. Some of it remains in the current version at the start of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction. I was always gaga over models, so it was one of my favorite places in Disneyland. Little did I know there was a photo of me there; in fact, my friend who took this Kodachrome slide didn't know about it either, until we came upon a box of forgotten slides at his place. I think it's around closing time, thus the absence of crowds.
