St Elmo

She's standing in front of one of Columbus's most historic houses, St. Elmo, completed in 1833.

That is my wife

Not quite, but same bike, same clothes. Summer 1957. Twenty two years old.

Pair of '57 beauties

She is made up and dressed the way I remember pretty women when I was 10 years old and the Schwinn is a 26" balloon tire classic.

Boys' bike

We have a men's model that looks to be a few years older but has the same design. It was in storage and I decided to try it out, inflated the balloon tires and then found out the brakes failed, just from sitting around. Darn thing is only around 60 years old too.
